School may be out, but I will still be posting things on this site until I find a better venue. Check out my most recent project featuring shots from the 2015 Wooden Boat Show in Mystic, CT!
Hey all. On the pages that have slideshows, the images appear rather small. I’m working on trying to fix this, but for the time being, if you want to see the images larger, just zoom in the web browser using the view tab at the top of your browser, or using “control +” for PCs or “command +” for Macs. Thanks!
Nikon has come out with a hot new development in case anyone is interested and has not yet seen it. It’s called Nikon Snapbridge. Snapbridge can connect your phone with a compatible camera, and allow you to quickly and easily send pictures from your camera to your phone, and then share via social media. Gone are the days of plugging in your camera, or having to fumble with a memory card. It even allows you to control your camera from your phone. The screen of your phone essentially becomes a monitor for the camera, and you can control not only the settings of your camera, but also actually snap the photo as well!
While it is not available on all camera models, there are a growing number of new cameras coming out that are Wi-Fi compatible, and can utilize this amazing tool. One of them is the Nikon d7200, which is an improvement of my own camera, the Nikon d7000. I only wish I could take advantage of this. For more details, tutorials, and a full list of compatable cameras, here is the link to the Nikon Snapbridge info: http://www.nikonusa.com/en/Nikon-Products/Nikon-Snapbridge.page?cid=web-1114-snap-hp
Thanks for checking out my blog. I currently have one project up, A Visit to the Orchard House, but more will go up soon!
